Cutie Pie, My Original Character

Here is my very interesting "Original Character." As you can see, I had sweets/cupcakes on the brain! xD

Cutie Pie is obviously a cartoon cupcake who is from a place called "Frosting Mountain." She lives in an oven and sleeps in a muffin tin. She's not the brightest up things, but she if very bubbly, friendly, and happy.

Anyway! This is my OC (I know she is most certainly not the best, but at least I tried my best!)

 

So here was my first attempt at using the art program called Inkscape. I honestly was not trying to make anything perfect. I was just playing around trying to get familiar with the program. I know it's lame. But after I learn how to use everything on Inkscape, I will make sure to post some better art! (Just letting you all know now, I am not an artist what so ever!) Anyway, hope you enjoy! 

Starting My Art Blog

Hi everyone! Welcome to my Digital Art blog! 

My name is Desire (dez-a-ray) I usually go by Desi for short. I am 17 years old and I am a senior in high school. (Yay for the last year of high school!) Some interests of mine are, hanging out with friends, spending time with my family, sleeping, (I mean, who doesn't like to sleep!?) I am obsessed with an A Capella group called 'Pentatonix' they are five very talented people, who all got together and created a very successful and amazing singing group.  For those of you who don't know what A Capella is, it's basically where you make music with only using your mouth and other body parts. So in other words, you don't use any instruments. Some other things I like to do are, making/creating art, photography, crocheting, watching cartoons, and baking yummy treats!

A little about why I made this blog:

I made this blog mostly because my digital teacher would like me to share my artwork through my blog. But I honestly think it's a great idea, especially if I decide to continue with a digital art career. So in other words, I created this blog to share my current artwork with all of you!

So sadly, I don't have any of my own are work you share with you guys at the moment. So to make up for it, I decided to add some pictures of certain types of art that I appreciate! Just reminding you all, that the images in this post, are not mine. I got them off of google! :)
